Praise Prayer
(Ps 150) I praise You, Lord. I praise You, God, in Your
sanctuary, I praise You in the firmament of Your power. I praise You for Your
mighty acts, I praise You according to Your excellent greatness. I praise You
with the sound of trumpet, I praise You with the psaltery and harp. I praise
You with timbrel and dance, I praise You with stringed instruments and organs.
I praise You upon the loud cymbals, I praise You upon the high sounding
cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise You, Lord. I praise You. (2 Sam
22:4) I call upon You, Lord, who is worthy to be praised, so I shall be saved
from my enemies. (1 Chron 16:25) For great are You, and greatly to be praised –
You also are to be feared above all gods. (1 Chron 16:36) Blessed be the Lord
God of Israel forever and ever (1 Chron 23:30) Let me stand every morning to
thank and praise You, and likewise also at even (1 Chron 29:13) I thank you, my

You in the heights… Praise Him all his angels, praise Him all His hosts, praise
Him, you sun and moon, praise Him all you stars of light, praise Him you
heavens of heavens and you waters that be above the heavens – let all of you
praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded, and you were created. Praise the
Lord from the earth, all you dragons and all deeps, fire and hail; snow and
vapours; the stormy wind fulfilling Your word: mountains and all hills;
fruitful trees and all cedars; beasts and all cattle; creeping thing and flying
fowl; kings of the earth, and all people; princes and all judges of the earth;
both young men and maidens, old men and children – let all of them praise the
name of the Lord! For Your name alone is excellent, Your glory is above the
earth and heaven. (Jer 17:14) Heal me, o Lord, and I shall be healed; save me,
and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. (Heb 13:15) I offer unto You the
sacrifice of praise continually, the fruit of my lips giving thanks to Your
name. (1Pet 2:9) I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation,
a peculiar people, and I will show forth praises to You who hath called me out
of darkness into Your marvellous light. (Gen 24:26) I bow down my head and worship
You (Neh 9:6) Thou, even thou, are Lord alone. You have made heaven, the heaven
of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are therein, the
seas and all that is therein, and You preserve them all, and the host of heaven
worship You, and I worship You. (Ps 29:2) I give unto You, Lord, the glory due
unto Your name, I worship You, Lord, in the beauty of holiness. (Ps 66:4) All
the earth worship thee, and shall sing unto thee, they shall sing to thy name.
(Ps 95:6) I come and worship and bow down, I kneel before You Lord, my Maker
(Ps 99:5) I exalt You, o Lord my God, and worship at Your footstool, for You
are holy. (John 4:24) You are a Spirit, o God, and I worship You in Spirit and
in truth. (Rev 4:11) Thou art worthy, o Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:
for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were
created. (Rev 7:12) Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and
honour, and power, and might, be into You, my God, forever and ever. (Rev 11:17)
I give thee thanks, o Lord God Almighty, which art and wast and art to come,
because thou has taken to thee great power, and hast reigned. (Rev 15:3) Great
and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty, just and true are thy ways,
thou King of saints. (Rev 4:8) Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was and
is and is to come (Rev 22:13) For You are the Alpha and the Omega, the
beginning and the end, the first and the last. (Rev 19:4) Amen and
