Dear Father God,
A flood of excitement washes over me. I felt this yesterday too. And, just like yesterday, I bring it to You, Father God. I lay this feeling of excitement at Your feet - and I ask that You will take charge of it.
I ask that You will only let happen what is in Your will and Your plans for my life.
I am excited about the future.
I am excited about what awaits me and my life.
I realise that it may be hard, that it will have challenges, that it will be a struggle at times.
But that is just what life is - there is no growth without pain.
Father God, lead me in the way you have already prepared for me. Open my ears and my heart that I may hear Your voice and fill my spirit with Your power and the courage to follow You.
My future, my faith, is in Your hands, my Abba Father.
Lead me where You will.
